Anatomy and Physiology Exhibition – 2025

On 6th February 2025, Nightingale Institute of Nursing and Physiotherapy, M.G.R Nagar, Madukkarai, hosted an Anatomy and Physiology Exhibition. Our B.Sc. Nursing 1st-year students actively participated by showcasing posters, solid models, and working models.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. K. Narayanasamy M.D., D.M. (Gastro), Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.

National Blood Donor Month 2025 – Awareness Initiative

As part of National Blood Donor Month 2025, B.Sc. (N) II-year students from Kumaran College of Nursing organized an awareness event at the Primary Healthcare Centre, Semmanichettipalayam, from 10 AM to 11 AM.
Event Highlights:
- Students exhibited handmade models of blood donor setups.
- Interactive presentations using charts explained blood grouping and key donation guidelines.
- A mime performance emphasized the importance of blood donation.
- Activity-based sessions engaged participants, reinforcing the message.
The event successfully educated attendees on the life-saving impact of blood donation, fostering awareness and community participation.
Republic Day Celebration – 2025

On January 26th, 2025, Kumaran College of Nursing commemorated Republic Day with great patriotism and unity. The National Flag was hoisted by our Chief Nursing Officer, Mrs. Kavitha, followed by the singing of national songs by our students, fostering a deep sense of national pride and respect.
Awareness Rally on “No Usage of Plastic”

Kumaran College of Nursing, in collaboration with Kovilpalayam Panchayat, organized an awareness rally on 25th January 2025 to promote plastic-free living. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. Komalavalli Kandhaswami, Mr. Vijayakumar, and Mr. Parithiban.
SNA volunteers actively participated, carrying placards with impactful slogans like “Say No to Plastic,” “Plastic-Free Future,” and “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.” They also distributed pamphlets to local shops. The rally started from the Panchayat Office and concluded at Kovilpalayam Bus Stand, ending with a pledge to reduce plastic use.
Pongal Festival Celebration at Kumaran College of Nursing

National Winter Skin Relief Day at Kumaran College of Nursing
